Gorge Scrambling in Scotland
“I know it is wet and the sun is not sunny, but we can have lots of good fun that is funny.” Dr. Seuss, The Cat in the Hat
Often referred to as Gorge Walking or Ghyll Scrambling it’s a fantastic activity, and regardless of what you call it you’re going to get wet!
We’ll kit you out with everything you need, wetsuit, buoyancy jacket, helmet, etc. You only need to bring a towel some dry clothes and your enthusiasm.
During the summer months, from May to October, our gorge walks vary from 2km to 10km and involve walking in the river, scrambling over rocks and other obstacles, sliding down waterslides cut into the rock by the river itself, jumping off high rocks into clear pools and abseiling over waterfalls.
It’s a total rush and if you’re never tried it then you’re missing out!
We are one of the premier outdoor activity centres in Scotland to organise gorge scrambling groups so bring your friends and lets get wet!
