Mountain Biking in Scotland

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” Albert Einstein

No-one can deny the thrill of mountain biking. Whether it’s racing down a mountain track, dodging through woodland trees, splashing through muddy puddles or just taking it easy and enjoying being outdoors and taking in the scenery, we can cater to your every pleasure.

We use qualified and experienced instructors to run enjoyable sessions for beginners or for those wishing to learn some new skills and push themselves, through to more advanced and track hardened cyclists and with our years of experience we can choose the appropriate mountain bike routes to suit the groups or individuals needs, using either the green, blue or the red routes on the chosen trail.

We are very fortunate in that we have access to some of the Seven Stanes mountain bike trails at Glentrool and Kirroughtree which are relatively nearby, and we also go further afield to Dalbeattie, Mabie Forest and Drumlanrigg.

Mountain biking with Adventure Centre for Education can be anywhere from a forest road, mountainous track or a purpose built cycle trail but wherever it is it will be nothing short of exhilarating.
